Brown Ridge Mountains: Calley`s Waterfall

          Like this waterfall is my life. The LORD is slowly, constantly working to push and flood all the dirt and sin out of my life. Sometimes all I can see is the dirt and grime, and other times I can see the clear, pure waters and the blossoms of His love and beauty flowing out of my life. Sometimes I only see the muddy water that is found squeezed between the two processes colliding at once...

He makes me beautiful.

He makes the falls beautiful

even with their dirt, grime, and mud.

     I wish I could express to myself what in the world is going on in my heart sometimes. I wish I could express to my God what in the world is going on in my heart and why some days are so hard, difficult, depressing...completely aside from circumstances and struggles. But today, in this song I find my thoughts, my worries, my fears...expressed nearly perfectly. 


This is who I am, a sinner.


This is who He is, my Savior, and he takes my brokenness aside.
