HIS

"Though the mountains may depart and hills be removed,

At the epicenter of my heart, at the core of its every beat, my ever breath...is the bundle of HIS.

All that I am, is HIS. My life is in his hands.

-His, Wilhelm (1863–1934), German physician. A pioneer cardiologist, His was one of the first to recognize that the heartbeat originates in nodes of modified heart muscle. In 1893 he described the atrioventricular bundle, which is now known as the bundle of His.

Maybe it was named after Wilhelm His, but I know my God had a bigger purpose...
